QA Engineer – Rollpay & Filmmakersmart (FMM)

Location: Lagos (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, Fridays remote)

Filmmakersmart (FMM) connects filmmakers to resources, sets, and services they need to bring their projects to life.

We’re looking for a QA Engineer who will own the testing process across both platforms, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and high user trust. The right person will be hands-on with testing, automation, and quality strategy, with the opportunity to grow into QA Lead as we scale.

🚀 What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for Rollpay and FMM.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing across both products.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to catch issues before they reach production.
  • Maintain and improve automated testing pipelines in CI/CD for both platforms.
  • Ensure fintech compliance and payment reliability for Rollpay, and platform stability and usability for FMM.
  • Log and track defects in Jira and follow them through to resolution.
  • Mentor junior QA staff and prepare for a QA Lead role as the team expands.

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years in software QA/testing.
  • 2+ active years using automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Jest, etc.
  • Experience testing fintech systems (payments, wallets, banking APIs) and web platforms.
  • Strong API testing skills (Postman, Newman, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
  • Knowledge of TDD/BDD and agile testing practices.
  • Bonus: Performance testing tools (JMeter, k6) and basic security testing.
