Overview
We’re looking for a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join our team on a contract basis. This mid-level role supports both Filmmakers Mart and Rollpay Africa, two fast-growing brands in the African filmtech space.
You’ll be responsible for designing compelling and brand-aligned visuals across social media, digital ads, marketing campaigns, and print materials. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to bring campaigns to life and help elevate our visual identity across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design engaging graphics for social media, advertisements, and digital platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and create graphics that align with the overall marketing strategy.
- Create visually appealing graphics for marketing campaigns and promotional materials for media and print.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project requirements.
- Create corporate design deliverables such as presentations, pitch decks, and other related materials.
- Design various collateral, including business cards, flyers, posters, brochures, and other print materials, maintaining a professional and consistent look with the brand guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in established Design studios, advertising agencies, or in-house design.
- Experience with Social Media designs, Marketing designs, and Ad posters.
- Proficiency in design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and Google Workspace.
- Solid portfolio demonstrating strong aesthetic sense, creativity, and understanding of design principles.
- Expertise in fundamental design principles, including typography, color theory, composition, and branding, with the ability to articulate design thinking and rationale.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate and defend design choices in complex scenarios.
